I have to make a DMG installable, I am able to make a Normal installables where it will have symbolic link to Application folder, and My App file, I would like to create similar to Skype or Mozilla, where they drag an App icon to application file and possibly it copies certain file to /library/Application Support folder. The destination ISO file will be in the same folder of the source DMG file, you can change it if necessary. After you have made the selection, click 'Convert Now' to start conversion.

3. AnyBurn will start converting the DMG file to ISO format, and showing the conversion progress.

4. You should see the message 'Converting image file finished successfully.' when the conversion complete.

  1. In the Disk Utility window, go to the menu on the left and highlight the name of the disk you mounted.

  2. Click on the File menu at the top of the screen. From the drop-down menu, click New, then Disk Image From [name of your disk].

  3. Type a name for your new file, then navigate to the Desktop to save the file there.

  4. Under Image Format, choose compressed.

  5. Click Save. You now have a .dmg file saved on your desktop. Next, you can burn the file onto a blank CD/DVD.

  1. Eject the original CD/DVD from the computer and insert a blank one. If you are prompted with a pop-up window, click Ignore.

  2. Return to Disk Utility, and click the Burn button at the top of the window.

  3. Navigate to the Desktop, and highlight the .dmg file you saved. Click Burn.

  4. Click Burn again in the new window to accept default settings.

  5. Once the program finishes burning the disk, it will automatically eject. You should now have a burned CD or DVD with a copy of the original file saved in .dmg format.
