Dnd 5e Sneak Attack Dmg
@JeremyECrawford@gaaran00b To clarify. Can the Rogue SA twice during the same round, if on two different turns. (ie. attack action + OA)

Yes. The Sneak Attack restriction is once per turn, not once per round. https://t.co/ulhoPDaHun

Ranged attacks can count as sneak attacks only if the target is within 30 feet. With a sap (blackjack) or an unarmed strike, a rogue can make a sneak attack that deals nonlethal damage instead of lethal damage. She cannot use a weapon that deals lethal damage to deal nonlethal damage in a sneak attack, not even with the usual -4 penalty.
@JeremyECrawford ok, the concern was that Reactions technically count as someone else’s turn since they work as a reaction to another’s turn
- Dec 19, 2011 The Craven feat adds one damage per character level to Sneak Attack dice, which is equivalent to 1d6+2. This increases your friend's average Sneak Attack damage from 3.5 per dice rolled (the average for a d6 roll) to 5.5 per dice rolled, which is effectively equivalent to rolling d10s instead.
- “In DnD 5e do you have to declare which attack has Sneak Attack when you have multiple attacks per turn?” No, you do not. Both the rulebook states you do not need to declare which attack is the sneak-attack, but can even be easily explained how a second attack (assuming you cross-classed or are using two weapons) still does sneak attack damage.

A reaction is a response to a trigger of some kind. That trigger might be on your turn or someone else’s. https://t.co/ghoiX1bt1u

Dnd 5e Sneak Attack Damage Type
Dnd 5e Rogue Sneak Attack Damage
RAW, the answer would be no, as a fist is not a Finesse weapon.
However, it passes my Rule of Cool, having a rogue smacking someone from behind to knock someone out. 'Head Butt Sneak Attack!'
But then that could get into more troublesome territory, like if a rogue wants to knock someone out with Baseball Bat Sneak Attack. Or being more effective at breaking someone's neck from behind by Sneak Attack compared to an actual Monk.
What say you?
